Nebraska is Home
After living in Nebraska for sixteen years, this is home. I want to serve and give back to my community. I will advocate for our natural resources and seek to improve the natural health and beauty of Southeast Nebraska.
Civic Virtue & Responsibility
Serving the public and seeking its best interests are essential to civic life and democracy. I want to use my passions and talents to safeguard the health of our community.
Water Quality
Contaminants such as lead, arsenic, nitrates, and harmful microorganisms endanger our health, and too many people in the United States live in areas where they cannot trust the quality of the water under their feet. I will work with the other directors of the NRD to ensure that our community is doing everything in its power to protect the quality and supply of our groundwater.
Preparing for the Future
Flood prevention and drought mitigation are two of the most important environmental responsibilities of local government. I will support investments in critical water infrastructure projects to ensure that our community is prepared for worst-case scenarios.
